I’ve been watching a bunch of shows and movies released in 2025 and noticed how often Nintendo gear makes a surprise appearance. As a fan, I started grabbing screenshots every time I spotted one. From older models to current ones, it’s cool to see how they’re still getting screen time. Each scene adds a little something when a classic or familiar handheld shows up.Below are all the moments I’ve found so far this year — all Nintendo, all fun.
Nintendo Cameos of 2025
“Ballard” Season 1 Episode 5, “What’s Done in the Dark”, featured a Switch.
“And Just Like That” Season 3 Episode 5, “Under the Table”, included a Switch appearance.
A Switch also appeared in “And Just Like That” Season 3 Episode 4, “Apples to Apples”.
“Nine Perfect Strangers” Season 2 Episode 6, “The Other Side”, showcased a classic Super console.
A Switch controller was seen in “Ginny and Georgia” Season 3 Episode 6, “At Least It Can’t Get Worse”.
The movie “Mountainhead” incorporated a Switch.
A GameCube with controllers appeared in “Adults” Season 1 Episode 5, “Theracide”.
“A Minecraft Movie” featured a nostalgic Super Entertainment System.
In “You” Season 5 Episode 7, “Joe Goldberg”, a Switch console made a brief cameo.
“Étoile” Season 1 Episode 7, “The Slip”, included a Switch appearance.
A DS handheld console appeared in “Good American Family” Season 1 Episode 7, “If You Tell a Story Well Enough”.
“Ransom Canyon” Season 1 Episode 4, “That Boy Is My Whole Heart”, featured a Switch and Beats headphones.
The UK show “Black Mirror” Season 7 Episode 4, “Plaything”, showcased a classic SNES console and Street Fighter II video game.
A Switch also appeared in the same “Black Mirror” episode, “Plaything”.
“Pulse” Season 1 Episode 7, “Choices”, included a Switch console.
The family film “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip” showed a white Switch.
“Rescue: HI-Surf” Season 1 Episode 17, “Sea Change”, featured a Switch.
“Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” featured a Switch alongside a KitchenAid mixer.
A Switch Lite was seen in “Shifting Gears” Season 1 Episode 6, “Valentines”.
Reality show “Raid the Cage” Season 2 Episode 6, “The Amazing Race vs Survivor”, featured a Switch.
“Mythic Quest” Season 4 Episode 3, “Breakthrough”, included N64 controllers and Razer gaming chairs.
“Bookie” Season 2 Episode 8, “A Whale in Pomona”, featured a Switch console.
“Lopez vs Lopez” Season 3 Episode 11, “Lopez vs Memories”, highlighted a Switch handheld.
“Goosebumps” Season 2 Episode 8, “Invasion of the Body Squeezers”, showed a Game Boy handheld.
“Bookie” Season 2 Episode 5, “Fruits for Partners”, featured an iPhone, Peroni beer, and a Switch.
