Alan Ritchson wears a pretty classic Timex in Motor City.
His character, John Miller, wears a Timex Easy Reader Day-Date with a white dial and black leather strap. There’s also a small stack of bracelets next to the watch that caught my eye.

I spotted it at around 00:17:10.
This scene gives us a really good look at Ritchson’s wrist. The watch has a white dial, large black Arabic numerals, a silver-tone case and the day-date window at 3 o’clock.
Next to it, he’s wearing what looks like a slim silver-tone metal bangle and a narrow black cord or leather bracelet.
I haven’t been able to identify those bracelets yet, but they’re clearly part of the look and are worn right alongside the Timex.
Timex Easy Reader Day-Date
It’s a simple design. Big numbers, a clean white dial and the day and date sitting together at 3 o’clock.
The Easy Reader isn’t a new Timex design either. The line dates back to 1977, which explains the old-school look of the watch.
The current 35mm Day-Date version uses a quartz movement, mineral glass and a leather strap. It’s also water resistant to 30 meters.
Nothing particularly flashy here, and that’s part of the appeal. It’s the kind of inexpensive everyday watch that doesn’t look like it was chosen just to get noticed on camera.
The Timex is fitted with a wide black leather strap decorated with silver-tone metal studs. It gives the simple Easy Reader a completely different look.
